JL PhysioFit provide an expert physiotherapy service focused on finding the root cause of your problem. You will be seen by an experienced physiotherapist at our purpose-built clinic in Ponteland, just outside Newcastle. A comprehensive assessment will be carried out helping you to understand the diagnosis and treatment options available to you.
The price of an initial physiotherapy assessment is £49 with follow up treatment at £45. All appointments last 40 minutes and we also have discounted treatment packages available, please see our full price list for more details. All services can be booked online in a few simple steps or by phoning the clinic direct. We aim to be available to see clients within 24-48 hours of enquiry.
What to expect on arrival
Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your first appointment so you can fill out a simple form with your personal details and your method of payment.
Your assessment will first involve a discussion between you and your physio to help identify the signs and symptoms of your problem as well as taking your past medical history. Your physio will then guide you through some movement tests to help form a working diagnosis.
What to wear
It is helpful to wear loose fitting clothing so that your physio can assess the relevant area. For example, if it is a knee problem then please bring shorts. Consent will always be gained prior to any assessment technique.
You will be advised on how many sessions it will most likely take to treat your problem and then our receptionists will help you book your next appointment. They can also advise you on any relevant treatment packages available.
PhysioFit Rehab Programmes
At JL PhysioFit we devise comprehensive PhysioFit rehab programmes designed to help patients struggling with a number of conditions including ankle sprains, low back pain, shoulder pain, total knee and hip replacements, ACL reconstructions and many more.
The programmes consist of a mixture of hands-on physio in the treatment room with one-to-one training in the studio and are always unique to each patient.
